Baltic Cloud Forum 2025
October 1, 2025Baltic Cloud Forum will take place on October 1, 2025 at Riga Latvia.
A high-level conference on the opportunities and challenges of cloud computing in the public sector will bring together experts from the Baltic and Nordic countries, government representatives, and ICT industry professionals. During the conference, experts will discuss the use of cloud computing in public sector in Baltic’s, including cyber security aspects, AI challenges and gains, regulation and practical issues.
Bringing together leading experts from the Baltic and Nordic regions, the “Baltic Cloud Forum 2025” – a high-level conference on cloud computing opportunities and challenges in the public sector – will take place on October 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at AC Hotel Riga. The conference is organized by the leading ICT associations of the Baltic countries – LIKTA (Latvia), ITL (Estonia), and Infobalt (Lithuania) – in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia (VARAM).
The conference will be opened by Raimonds Čudars, Minister for Smart Governance and Regional Development. Participants will include representatives from the public sector in the Baltic and Nordic regions, ICT professionals, and cloud computing experts. Among them are Kirsi Janhunen from the Finnish Ministry of Finance, Gatis Ozols, Deputy Secretary of State at VARAM, Tõnu Grünberg, Deputy Secretary of State at the Estonian Ministry of Justice and Digitalization, Dmitrijs Ņikitins, Chief Technology Officer at SIA Tet, Tomas Misevičius, Executive Director of the Lithuanian State Digital Agency, Evijs Taube, Board Member of the Latvian National Radio and Television Centre, as well as other experts.
The conference will bring together experts from the Baltic and Nordic regions – public sector representatives, ICT professionals, and cloud computing specialists – to discuss current issues in the field, including:
Cloud computing in the public sector in the Baltic States and Finland: practices, future challenges, and plans;
Cloud computing and digital resilience;
Cybersecurity and cloud computing: risks and solutions to mitigate them
