The potential for economic development through ICT is very high. Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications and Estonian ICT Cluster partners’ case studies demonstrate that in order to promote development, some large-scale and brave changes must be made. Our vision of the smart economy is based on three pillars – smart products, participation in production chains with a high value and real-time economy. Case studies are focusing on using digital solutions in fields like e-Governance, e-industry (digitalisation of industry) and smart mobility and logistics.
