Kalev Pihl

Kalev Pihl has over 20 years of experience in electronic identity field. He have been one of the key figures behind the Estonian ID-card project since its planning and has had big influence on the outcomes that are available today.

Nowadays Kalev is CEO of SK ID Solutions that is leading Trust Service Provider in Baltic countries, with a wide range of responsibilities from issuing certificates or time stamps to providing support for digital signing or working on future electronic identity mechanisms for EU.

In ITL Kalev is leading Information Security Council with the aim to represent Estonian ICT sector views in information and cyber security, maintain a dialogue with the public sector and to form views on sectoral legislation.
