ITS Estonia at ITS World Congress in LA
September 25, 2022A full week filled with exciting discussions, sessions and new contacts is behind us from ITS World Congress 2022 in Los Angeles, California.
As an overall impression this congress focused more on presenting the common challenges than the ones before it. The need for more increased access, equity, and safer mobility was also clear while walking around the streets of the host city in LA. The challenges surely are a bit different than in most European cities, but the main objectives stay the same – greener, safer and smarter streets for all. ITS Estonia representatives, as part of the bigger ITS Nordic+ and ITS Nationals delegations, were happy to share its experiences and introduce our new solutions to the wider public.
Elmo Rent who was also presenting its distant-driving technology on the Nordic+ stand, was one of the most popular solutions presented at the whole expo area – constantly having people around it wanting to test it themselves. ITS Estonia was also happy to moderate one of the stand sessions focusing on new mobility services for people.
