MoU between Estonia and Egypt ICT sectors
September 22, 2026Estonia and Egypt strengthen digital cooperation through signed MoU.
On Monday, the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITL) and the Chamber of Information Technology & Telecommunication (CIT) of Egypt signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen cooperation between the Estonian and Egyptian ICT ecosystems.

This is not the beginning of our collaboration, but an important new chapter in a relationship that has been growing through years of knowledge exchange, expert dialogue and cooperation on digital transformation. Through these engagements, we have gained a strong appreciation for Egypt’s ambitious digital vision and its emergence as a leading technology hub in the region and we see great potential in combining Estonia’s experience in digital transformation with Egypt’s scale, talent and growing market opportunities.
The new MoU provides a framework for bringing together companies, entrepreneurs, innovators and institutions from both countries. We look forward to creating new business opportunities, supporting innovation and strengthening collaboration in areas such as digital government, cybersecurity, AI, digital skills and other emerging technologies.
