MoU for future collaboration between Sharjah innovation park and ITL

Last week marked a new beginning of future collaboration.

Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) hosted and co-organized with ITL/Estonian ICT Cluster a business forum that was opened by H.E. Jaan Reinhold, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the United Arab Emirates. Our former president H.E. Kersti Kaljulaid participated together with H.E. Hussein Al Mahmoudi, the Executive Director of SRTIP, and IT companies representatives in the discussion about the future collaboration. The speakers focused on the best practices, pioneering experiences and most important developments related to developing digital solutions, data and modern technologies.

During the visit to Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) and ITL Estonia/Estonian ICT Cluster signed a memorandum of understanding – we agreed to enhance our collaboration in innovative industries.

„It is important for us to encourage an atmosphere of collaboration and alliance, in support and cooperation, we want to practice and encourage technology transfer, start-up in the fields of business expansion to the United Arab Emirates,” explained Doris Põld, CEO of ITL. “Providing support to scientists, companies and institutions creating technology solutions for e-governance, e-industry, smart and sustainable city and mobility, and other innovative technologies are the important keyword of this memorandum.“
