CEO of ITS Estonia became a member of ITS Nationals Coordination Committee
September 5, 2022After the Network of National ITS Associations (ITS Nationals) elections, we are proud to announce that among three newly elected members of the Coordination Committee is also Maarja Rannama, CEO of ITS Estonia.
Guenther Weber from ITS Germany was re-elected as Chairman of the Network, Donal Hodgins from ITS Ireland started as Vice Chairman of the Network. Donal and Maarja are the first representatives from Ireland and Estonia to sit on the ITS Nationals Coordination Committee.
“ITS Estonia already has excellent access to the sectoral networks of different countries through ITS Nationals, and we have worked closely with many different countries over the years,” explains Maarja Rannama. “I am really grateful to be elected to the position of coordination committee member by my dear European colleagues from 27 member organisations, I think that maybe the ITS community, focusing on digitization and automation of transport and mobility, have something to learn from the experiences of our digital society as well. I am excited to contribute to further increasing the visibility and role of ITS Nationals in the international ITS ecosystem.“
