CyberHub Estonia is proud to announce its partnership with CTF Tech as a sponsor of the Telia Cyber Battle of Nordic-Baltics 2024 and CyberSpike 2024, taking place on November 1st, 2024 in Tartu, Estonia.
This premier cybersecurity event, designed for participants aged 14-25, is the largest of its kind in the region, providing young ethical hackers a platform to showcase their talents in real-world challenges.
Organized by CTF Tech, one of CyberHub Estonia’s key partners, the competition will bring together the brightest cyber minds from across the Nordic and Baltic countries. The finalists, selected from national qualification rounds, will compete for the title of cybersecurity superstars at the University of Tartu Sports Hall. Special recognition will be given to girls-only teams, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event.
“Cyber Battle 2024 is a unique event that not only offers students a chance to demonstrate their cybersecurity skills but also highlights the importance of cybersecurity education in today’s digital age,” said Doris Põld, CEO of ITL and CyberHub Estonia. “As the largest event of its kind in the Nordics and Baltics, it’s a great way to attract young talent to the field and showcase the critical role of cybersecurity in safeguarding our digital future.”
With live coverage provided by the Telia Inspira channel and an exciting atmosphere, including challenges hosted by Karl-Erik Taukar, this year’s event promises to be a day full of innovation, learning, and entertainment.
In addition to the competition, the event will also feature Cybercation 2024: Many Faces of Cyber Security, a conference organized by the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia. The conference will bring together teachers, youth workers, IT professionals, and cybersecurity experts to discuss the future of cybersecurity education and how to better engage young people in this vital sector. The conference will be broadcasted live.
CyberHub Estonia is excited to support this initiative and looks forward to seeing the next generation of ethical hackers lead the way in securing our digital world.
